Here in Boston, there are many ways to help out those who are less fortunate. There’s the Pine Street in located in 444 Harrison Ave. “Founded in 1969, Pine Street is the largest resource for homeless men and women in New England” says their website.
If you enjoy working with children, tutoring might be more your style. You could also give “Big Brothers, Big Sisters” a chance and be able to change a child’s life. With this organization you will be paired up with a child between the ages of 6-18 and be seen as a role model for them.
Volunteering can change your outlook and make you grateful for the things you have in your life. You might even be able to change someone else’s life for the better.
